About the maker

Leather that earns its marks over time.

IKAOcraftsman is a handmade leather and wood workshop based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Every piece — wallet, card holder, or coin purse — is cut from quality hides including Italian Buttero leather, and saddle-stitched by hand.

The work focuses on proportion, color pairing, and honest construction. No shortcuts, no machine stitching on seams that matter. Made in Chiang Mai, built to be carried every day.

From hide to finished piece — no shortcuts.

Select

Each piece starts with choosing the right hide — thickness, temper, and color pairing considered before the first cut.

Cut & Stitch

Panels are hand-cut, edge-finished, and sewn by hand using waxed linen thread. No machine stitching on any seam that matters.

Finish

Edges are burnished, hardware is set, and the piece is conditioned before it leaves the bench. Built for daily use from day one.
